The mission of The N.C. Center for Nonprofits is to enrich North Carolina's communities and economy through a strong nonprofit sector and nonprofit voice.
The Center serves as an information center on effective practices in nonprofit organizations, a statewide network for nonprofit board and staff members, and an advocate for the nonprofit sector as a whole.
The Green Chair Project provides home furnishings donated from our community for families and individuals who have transitioned from experiencing homelessness or disasters and have secured sustainable housing.
The reusable gifts are cleaned and repaired by volunteers and are presented in a way that promotes dignity and respect.
For a small fee, families working with case managers from partnering agencies can select furniture, linens, cookware and accessories to outfit their homes.

Single Women With Children, Inc. has partnered with The We Win Organization (Women Empowering Women in Networking) to bring The Women Who Rock, Groove and Jam! fundraising concerts.

The mission of The WE WIN Organization is to create and execute a viable environment where women build relationships and encourage each other to work together to accomplish success for their business, professional careers and even self-image. The organization holds a Summer concert each year. Join us and help support the community!
